The Order of the Crown

The Order was established on October 15, 1897 by King Leopold II to recognize heroic deeds and distinguished service achieved for service in the Congo Free State. The Crown is awarded for services rendered to the Belgian state, for meritorious service in public employment.

Francophone Parade (organized by Alliance Française)

As part of the Francophonie Week celebrations, Francophone countries were invited to join the walk in the streets of Accra. To spice it up our children represented some of the cartoon characters from Tintin,Boule and Bill, Lucky Luke and our gorgeous Stroumphettes!

Francophone Festival

Bethel Industries, Brussels Airlines, Keniyo and Specialty Beers represented Belgium during the Francophonie Kermesse under the Belgian Consulate’s Kiosk.
